Designing for urban living poses challenges and opportunities. With smaller footprints and multiple stories, the townhome approach to developing Southwark on Reed allowed us to craft a spacious, thoughtfully considered living space.
Anyone who knows South Philly is familiar with the local parking struggle. The Southwark on Reed townhomes were designed from the street level up, addressing the very real need to have an integral parking space for residents.
Up the steps from the 1st floor foyer, the open floor plan of the living room and kitchen invites you right into the center of the home. Designed with an eye for detail, and for the prospect of fabulous everyday culinary experiences and and not-so-everyday entertaining, the center island and quartz countertops compliment solid wood cabinets, modern stainless appliances, and hardwood floors.
Beds, Baths, and Way Beyond
With 3 and 4 bedroom homes, and up to 3 full and 2 half baths, our townhomes offer plenty of options for residents. Ceramic bathroom floors, with single and double quartz vanities, make for the kind of morning routine we’d all like to lounge a little longer in.
One of the other main challenges facing urban dwellers is the lack of outdoor space. Thankfully, Southwark on Reed residents can enjoy private roof decks on the 4th floor—some with stunning city views, all with unlimited entertaining possibilities.
